If you want to write an e-mail to invite somebody in German, you need to follow the six basic rules which are:
- Anrede - salutation
- Thema (was?) - topic (what?)
- Zeitangabe (wann?) - time (when?)
- Ortsangabe (wo?) - place (where)
- Einladung - invitation
- Grüße - greetings
Anrede: Liebe/Lieber...,
Was? ... ich mache eine Grillparty/Gartenparty/Weihnachtsfeier.
... ich habe Geburtstag und mache eine Party.
Wann? Die Party/Die Feier ist am Freitag/ am 18. Dezember um ... Uhr.
Wo? im Restaurant/bei mir zu Hause/im Garten.
Einladung: Kommst du auch?/Kannst du kommen?/Hast du Zeit?
Grüße: Viele Grüße und bis Freitag
